The aim when creating the stool was to find a lightweight, flatpack design that doesn’t require any screws or tools for assembly. It is easily moved and stored when not in use. The zig-zag-like cogs which create the structure in the stool also contributes with a decorative element.
Through color and form, I have worked on the transition of one of the gunboat sheds at Holmen in Copenhagen. In my design proposal for boat shed no.12, I have been inspired by nets and its ability to both let through and hold up. By creating a large wedge through the room, movement is produced and gives visitors access to the entire building when the water level rises.
